Hi! Yeah sure :) Here are the ones I currently have and love:

Calvin Klein ‘Euphoria’, FCUK ‘Her’, Paris Hilton.
I use ‘Her’ daily, and Paris or Calvin when I’m going out.

And one’s I love but don’t have:

Burberry Sports, Dior J’adore.
Burberry is amazing! I love it for daytime, I’ve used my friends one a couple of times. And J’adore is so beautiful I want it!

And there’s a Vicoria Beckham perfume I adore, and also Elie Saab but I don’t know exactly which ones. :/

How to do: Smokey Eye

Smokey Eye is a very pretty and very simple eye makeup style to do! You don’t have to be an expert on makeup and eyeshadows in general. Smokey Eye also doesn’t have to be golds or browns or the classic Blacks/greys, you can do purple smokey eyes, a nice tuscany orange and gold smokey eye, etc. This style is so versatile and easy to achieve, all it takes is doing a few steps and voila!

There are a few pictures to help you achieve that classic but beautiful look! If the pictures don’t help, do what I did to learn… watch YouTube videos! Just search ‘smokey eye’ and I’m sure you’ll find a makeup artist who you like best, and who will teach you how to do it!

Makeup Treat!

I went online shopping and bought myself an eyeshadow makeup palette, because I’m in need of one and I’ve kept my eye on this particular one for a while. Coastal Scents 88 Shimmer Palette.

I was tossing up between the matte and shimmer, but I decided on the shimmer because I’ve already got plenty of matte shades and am in need of shimmer shades. It cost me about $30 AUD in total, because shipping was $18 - ridiculous I know. But I needed to treat myself to new makeup, and I’ve been wanting this for ages - I’ve seen it used multiple times in various YouTube makeup tutorial videos! I can’t wait to get the palette in the mail so I can play around with the shades, and do a review on here for you guys.

The Power of Pink Lips

Most of you have probably seen pink lips on a number of people lately, and not just any pink… hot pink! Yes, ladies, hot pink lips are in fashion now. I’m one for a nuetral makeup look, and nuetral look all over really.. but looking at all these images of girls wearing bright pink lips (tieing in with the ‘brights’ fashion look) has made me want to try it out, because I actually think it looks nice… worn properly anyway. It literally brightens up any outfit, and whether you have thin or big lips, it will make ya lips look juicy as! ;) Okay, but seriously, they suit all lip shapes and really bring the focus there, as well as enhancing your already amazing (I’m sure) outfit with just the touch of hot pink!

The only problem with wearing hot pink lipstick is there is such a fine line between looking classy and tacky. See one thing I’ve really learned this year is that slutting yourself out and looking like a trashbag really isn’t attractive. To some it may be, but I believe classy is the way. Pink lips tend to be trashy if worn wrong, or the wrong shade, or with way way way too much make up. So just think, simple, nuetral eye and face and cheek make up look, and beautiful hot pink lips with a nice outfit. So simple, so fun, so classy.

A quick tip on what you can wear it with…

I would go for nuetral/gold/silver clothing.. but brights also work! For example, blue and pink definitely work this season! Pink lips can also work for winter OR summer - so how good is that?! Definitely give it a try if you haven’t already!

Shopping Spree: I have an addiction…

To shopping, obviously.. but more so black and gold. They’re my favourite colours. I’m more of a gold jewellery person than silver.. Anyway, I’m leaving for Croatia on Monday (for SEVEN weeks!), and I needed a few simple things, like wax strips and a blush brush and little things like that. But then I got carried away because, you know, it’s the stocktake sales and it’s so tempting. Today I went crazy on accessories! Take a look:

When it comes to jewellery, I have a thing for rings. So I bought a whole bunch at Diva - 4 for $10. I love sales. And then I bought a few bangles and things like that; most of them are presents for my cousins and friends overseas.  I bought a new phone cover from Forever New for $19.95 - it’s a hard cover, and I don’t believe in those (the rubber ones protect your iphone if it drops), but it was just too pretty to pass. Anyway, now it won’t come off my damn phone! Argh. Also bought shoes from Kmart for $15, bargain! I needed flats, and I couldn’t find any ones I like that were leather.. so I just went for an el cheapo. I swear by leather shoes usually, though.

I also bought two lovely new bags! The first is the big one, pretty sure it’s called Lexie , and it’s from Sportsgirl. I’m not kidding - I have wanted this bag for months! But I just couldn’t bring myself to pay the $60 (I know, I’m such a cheap skate!) but I just never had the money/time to buy it when I wanted to… and then finally it came on sale for half price, at $29.95, and I grabbed it! It was the last one left, so thank god I grabbed it in time! The other smaller, long handle bag is for when I go clubbing/out somewhere and just need to shove money, my cards and phone in. It was $15 on sale, from Sportsgirl as well.

As I said, I needed a blush brush, and so I bought the Nude by Nature brush for $15 at Priceline. It’s so beyond soft, I can’t stop touching it! My other brushes I’d bought from cheaper brands and are now completely out of shape. The two bra’s are from Cotton On Body and were $10 each - bargain, again! Also, because I’m going overseas I needed another bikini top. I have this Seafolly bikini set in red with the frill bottoms, but I’m fussy with my tan line.. and because it’s bandeau up top, my tan will form around that, so I wanted a triangular bikini top as well. I’m still going to wear the red frill bandeau. But yeah I found this cute navy blue polka dot bikini top from Jets for $39 and it goes perfectly with my red frill bottoms!

And I also bought a whole bunch of other less important stuff, but here’s the basic gist of my spendings today! So worth it. Retail therapy and what it can do is amazing.

Time to pack for my trip!
